Dear BMMS parents-
It's going to be another great year for our middle schoolers. BUT we need your help. Over the past several months we have been hearing about the California state budget and the cuts to education…and the prognosis is not good. While our PUSD superintendent and school board have worked hard to limit the impact directly to our students, we all know that BMMS will feel the affect. We as parents, guardians, grandparents, and community leaders (anyone who
cares our BMMS!) must help our schools financially!
Our Legacy Tile Program had a small but successful start at the end of last year. If you have not seen the tiles on the wall by the entrance to the school (right side of the main office), please check them out. Purchasing a tile is a great way to show your support for BMMS, a staff member, a child, etc. Go to our Legacy Tile Program page for more information.
I am often asked why we cannot get local companies to help us out financially. Well…we can try, but the best person to ask those companies is a current employee. Thus PLEASE, ask your employer if you have a company matching program, or if they would like to donate directly to our school. They are also welcome to purchase a tile! Please give your employer this website, forms, or my email, I would love to talk with them about how to help us.
